Sundasciurus tenuis
Statut de Conservation (Liste Rouge de l'UICN):
Préoccupation mineure (LC)
It moves like a whisper — small, slim, and quick through the trees.
The slender squirrel lives high in the canopy, feeding on fruit, insects, and bark. Its body is narrow, its fur plain brown, its movements precise and nervous.
Unlike louder, bolder squirrels, it rarely draws attention. It doesn’t chatter, doesn’t pause for long — just a flick of the tail and it’s gone. It’s a forest squirrel, adapted for the upper layers — a quiet presence above, mostly hidden, always moving.
