Meeting the White-faced Capuchin

Cebus capucinus

Statut de Conservation (Liste Rouge de l'UICN): Vulnérable (VU)

Bright eyes, pale face, restless hands — always watching, always testing.

White-faced capuchins live in tight-knit troops, moving quickly through the canopy in search of fruit, insects, frogs, eggs — anything they can open, catch, or outsmart.

They’re tool users, problem solvers, and troublemakers. Social bonds are strong, and grooming is serious business. They rarely sit still. Every branch is a path, every object a possibility.

Small but sharp, playful but strategic — they are minds in motion, wrapped in muscle and mischief.
