About This Series

Wild Portraits is a series of short visual profiles focusing on one species at a time. Filmed mostly in Singapore and Southeast Asia, each episode offers a glimpse into the beauty, personality, or uniqueness of a single animal – whether it’s a curious glance, a strange behavior, or a flash of vivid plumage.

These portraits aren’t meant to be documentaries, or encyclopedia entries, they’re moments and experiences. Some are common animals we overlook. Some are rare or elusive. But each is a reminder of just how alive and diverse the natural world is, even close to home.
