About EXPLORATION.TV
This all began with a backpack, a camera, and a need to explore. Exploration.TV is where raw curiosity meets the drive to learn — to explore the wild with attention, to meet and get to know wild animals, and to share it all with care.
Why This Exists
Exploration.TV was never planned. It grew from a need – a need to understand wild places, to feel small in the right way, to witness beauty before it vanishes. I film alone, often in silence, not to chase attention but to build a record of what’s real.
My mission is simple: to explore with honesty, to film with care, and to share nature in ways that move people, because people protect what they feel connected to. The vision is a world where wild places are valued not just as resources, but as living wonders worth knowing, respecting, and preserving.

Hi, I’m Julien Mordret, Creator of Exploration.TV
I’m not a documentary crew, and I’m not a travel vlogger. I’m just one person, French by origin, shaped by twenty years of travel across more than fifty countries. From the remote forests of Guyana to the reefs of Palau, from Sweden’s tundra to Kenya’s savanna and Australia’s outback, I’ve chased one thing above all: wildness.
Early on, I traveled with no plan beyond curiosity. But the more I moved, the clearer it became: what truly moved me wasn’t just places, it was nature. Vast, raw landscapes. The thrill of meeting wild animals and delicate plants. The silent logic of ecosystems that had existed long before us.
The more I explored, the stronger the urge to go beyond just seeing. I wanted to immerse myself, to notice the small patterns, to connect. I wanted to learn how the wild works, and what threatens it. Curiosity led to understanding — and with it, the need to share what I’ve seen, and to show why it matters. Because we’re losing too much, too fast.
Today I’m based in Singapore, a small country, but one bursting with life. It’s my launchpad for new explorations, and the heart of this evolving project. Exploration.TV is where all of this – the learning, the stories, the wild encounters, finally has a voice.
What is Exploration.TV?
Exploration.TV is not just a personal project, it’s a growing platform dedicated to nature, wildlife, and immersive storytelling.
At its core, it brings together field exploration, science, and visual narrative to help people connect with the wild. Whether it’s the tangled roots of a rainforest or the quiet stare of a wild animal, each piece of content is built to make you feel something: curiosity, wonder, urgency.
The site is built around two main sections:

A collection of short films series and wildlife episodes from the YouTube channel, offering cinematic glimpses into the natural world.

Virtual field trips through wild places, enriched with science, natural history, and ecological context.
More than entertainment, Exploration.TV is meant to inform, inspire, and preserve.
It’s a space for slowing down, paying attention, and reconnecting with the living planet.
